THE PLAN
RENOVATION PROJECT
The vision of this initiative is to renovate the sanctuary and community center to correct numerous issues and replace decades-old mechanical systems so that our facilities are current with building regulations and efficiency standards.
The renovations will allow us to grow our ministries and services. A renewed sanctuary and hall will facilitate accessibility so that we can welcome all people and facilitate greater outreach to parishioners and the Somerville community.
The new center will allow the parish to:

Improve capacity of Liturgical services and ministries. The parish serves families and individuals from the greater Boston area and the current facility is outdated and expensive to operate.

Look into the future and offer welcoming ministries that will serve generations to come.

Provide regular continuing Greek language and cultural education.

Improve the parish’s ability to generate income by renting a renovated community center.

Offer ample parking and ease of access for all Liturgical and social events.
